Will a Serfas Urbana 650c tire fit on a 2005 Trek 2100 WSD?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Will a Serfas Urbana 650c tire fit on a 2005 Trek 2100 WSD?

I have a 2005 Trek 2100 WSD. The bike originally came with Bontrager Race 650Cx25 tires, which Bontrager stopped making a few years later, so I've been putting 650Cx23 tires on it since. But I'd like to return to a wider road tire on this bicycle.
I found this article https://www.slowtwitch.com/Products/T...view_3962.html about a 650Cx28 (supposedly, but really 650Cx26 according to the article).
Can someone comment whether this would fit on the 2005 Trek 2100WSD (47cm frame size)?

i can't help you with your question about a 2500 trek 2100 WSD chainstay and fork widths WRT 28c tires. but i do run the Urbana 28's on my 650c bike, both front and rear without clearance problems. and yes, i agree that they are slightly narrower than my conti ultra 28's, and maybe a bit wider than my Vittoria 25s.

here's a pic of a 25c Vittoria open Corsa, Urbana, and 28c Continental Ultra.
