Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ridley Fenix A30

So after years of riding $60 hybrids and mountainbikes from craigslist, I just bought the Ridley Fenix A30 for $770 (https://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=ca) - deal doesn't exist anymore lol. It's currently being delivered from another store.

It was a bit of a rushed purchase - since it was "the last one left in Canada" lol - but now i'm second guessing it. Mostly because I find the design rather ugly. In fact I'm tempted to forego the Shimano Sora set and carbon fork for a better looking frame haha, like on this old Allez model (2013 Allez C2)

Can I at least peel off the stickers from the frame, or do you think it's painted on?

Decals are going to be under a layer of clear coat, so no you can't just peel it off.

Was it at least a good deal? Lol I can't help but think there's a reason it's only $770...
