Guys only thread.

Ladies, if you've read this far then please close your browser. Definitely not for the fairer sex.

So my ninckname is "Nanchos" because when guys see me in the locker room they'll say, wow you bought a burrito but where are the nachos.

Now this has many benefits except in cycling. And I've notice two problems.

1) when riding in the drops, it's down right painful. It doesn't matter where I put it:left/right up/down after 10 minutes it's numb down there.

2) I look ridiculous in bike shorts. It looks like a baby's arm holding an apple down there and everyone just stares.

Any suggestions?

2) is just me being self conscious but Its still a problem for me.

I never get to see this stuff before it's deleted or locked.

Just in case this is legit, I feel your pain homie.

Regarding comment 2 , looser shorts possibly, like mountain bike shorts that have a padded liner? (I wear these to stay in character while riding my Big Dummy cargo bike because standard shorts look silly on it). They don't flap around as much as you might think either.

I sure hope someone doesn't pipe in with the "pictures or it didn't happen" comment. :innocent:

probably shouldn't leave ladies out of this... Maybe they have a positive opinion.

I, for one, don't stare at dudes junk when we are riding. I'd say most straight men are the same way.

MAYBE some women will look to see what you're workin' with, but I can't see too big being a turn off.

As for the first problem, I had that too. Chamois cream was the answer for me. It isn't just for the chamois. I give the burrito a slather and the skin it will be rubbing against (however high that may be), then tuck that baby up and to the left. Never had a problem since. YMMV.

Try a ice bag before and after/

Try again.. but with a different approach please. And maybe a little bit of finesse.

Thank you.
