Specialized Bike Colors

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Specialized Bike Colors

Stupid question... I'm currently looking at their Crux line on their website, all of the bikes say "shown here in color blah blah blah" but I see no option to change the color or select a different color, does that mean that the color listed is the only one available for that certain model, or are the colors universal across the whole line? I want an orange one.

The color shown is the only color a particular model/version is available in. If there are other options for that particular model/version then you should see a little color chooser below the "shown in" text.

Which orange? Crux Expert?

If you like the frame, it looks like it's available separately.

Yeah, I like both the Expert and the Expert Evo, but kind of wish they came with the E5 price tag. I saw the frame, just not sure I want to drop that much and still have to get all of the other parts.

I've finally talked my partner into getting a bike so he can ride with me. He's a 54cm and I'm a 56cm, his only requirements are that it's orange in color and lighter than his current commuter bike. Since we're so close in size, I figure I might as well get a bike that I'll enjoy too and I already have two road bikes, so a gravel grinder/cross bike sounds like the next logical choice. I was trying to keep the budget around $2k though.

I should probably just keep looking, there has to be more orange bikes out there that would make us both happy.

If you have a Performance Bikes near you, you can road test it.
