Looking at my first decent level Road Bike. Kuota Korsa Full Carbon with 105 set

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking at my first decent level Road Bike. Kuota Korsa Full Carbon with 105 set

BRAND NEW (SIZE 52cm) KUOTA KORSA FULL CARBON ROAD BIKE | road | City of Toronto | Kijiji

How does that deal look? With the exchange rate, that MSRP of that bike is about $2300 CND.

I rented a Kharma in France last year. It had a triple, for which I was grateful on the HC climbs, but other than that small factor, I was left really wishing I'd brought my CAAD10 instead. Especially on the descents; no comparison whatsoever on the handling. I'd feel the back wheel trying to wobble out from below me on any surface rougher than a pool table, whereas my CAAD on some pretty rough roads can keep the tyres locked to the asphalt.

The Korsa might be better, I can't know for sure, but I'm not impressed with my experience of Kuota.

Is that 11 speed? I've seen that bike (2014 model) heavily discounted at a couple places in Japan. Looks like a nice bike, but I've never ridden.

I think it sounds more expensive than necessary.
