Stem bags

I came across this and it looks interesting. I wouldn't have to keep my huge cell phone in my jersey pocket and could get rid of the saddle bag. Anyone have something like this? I had a top tube bag but it sucked, it would always lean to one side or the other no matter how hard I had it strapped down.

Why not just get a handlebar basket? Then you could put a lot of things like your purse or groceries.

Looks great for the hybrid/MUP - not sure about road use.

Isn't that what you boys in California do?

Wait, didn't you just reply "Fredish" in another Fredish thread? ;)

Did you really mean to post this in the 41?

A handlebar basket isn't aerodynamic; maybe OK if you use a wicker basket with aero holes.

Who makes this? I just picked up a garmin oregon GPS for exploring gravel roads and stuff. Something like this could be a good holder for it.

Edit: did a bit of googling, there are a fair number of bags like this for smartphones. Duh. I just don't own a smartphone and never thought about how to use one on a bike. The garmin gps is waterproof but I still need a way to mount it. Garmin makes an attachment for it (which can't easily be moved from bike to bike) but this is not a bad solution either.

Ali Baba or some chinese place. Looking at it again I would imagine it would flop around pretty easy.

Wouldn't surprise me but someone might make a good one. Topeak makes some; so does serfas.

Might be a solution for a gps unit when going exploring.
