Another thing to try is to engage your core muscles when you do this. It will help stabilize your hips and pull you down on the saddle.

Finally got a computer. It seems my normal cadence is around 95 (higher than I thought it would be), and it usually stays above 90 and under 105. I start getting saddle bounce around 105 unless going up hill or really focusing at not bring my legs up too high when pedaling.
Also, my first ride with the computer may have pushed me to ride harder. My time to get home was pretty good even though I was riding into 10mph headwind and my legs are exhausted from riding everyday. |
rollers helped me tremendously, you have to work your core as well as your legs, and you are forced to be smooth or else you start bouncing around, smoothness will come with time.
