Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I rode my GF's bike and I liked it.

My commuter was recently stolen and I'm not a big fan of riding my road bike to work. Today I decided to take my GF's bike, a Giant Via 1W with pink wheels and everything and I have to say I actually enjoyed it. That beast rides through road imperfections like if they weren't even there, and the upright position makes me feel as if I was sitting on my couch. Fast on the downhill aswell. Think I might have to get myself one of these city bikes.

I see a Katy Perry song in the making. Maybe teaming up with Queen.

City bikes can be fun. Plus, if you have to carry anything to work, they are well suited for that.

I just looked up "slippery slope" in the dictionary and this thread was listed as an example.

On the way back home I waved at some roadies and they didn't wave back. What an arrogant bunch roadies are.

You don't exist when you ride a pink bike.

But pink jersey is ok? Plus only the wheels are pink, the frame is gray.
