Looking for GPS Mapped Ride -> Graph Functionality

I have a Garmin 800 Edge plus Garmin Vector Power on my Bianchi. I track my progress with a combination of WKO+ and Golden Cheetah. Most of what I want comes out of WKO+, but there is one thing that keeps GC "on the screen" at all times. And that is the 'MAP' capability which shows the route that I just recorded and can link anything that I select on the Graph views (Power over time, speed over time, etc) to the segment on the MAP that it corresponds to.

That is often handy but more often I want to go the other way (select a segment on the map and see that highlighted on the Power Graph, for example). There are certainly other (paid or free) tracking options that will accept a .fit file. Where should I go here for this capability.

Thanks.

This is probably a dumb question but have you tried the Garmin Connect website?

I spent a little time there and if GC does that function, it wasn't obvious to me. But quite frankly I didn't work at that one all that hard as it didn't seem like a good choice (maybe I am wrong).

Using Garmin Express to "View your activities on Garmin Connect". When you click on the name of the ride you are interested in, it displays a map of the ride with a graph of the various stats below it. When you place the mouse pointer over a position on the map, it tracks the location in the stats window. Likewise, if you point to a location in the stats window, it shows the location on the map.

Hmmm. I've used GarminConnect into my account and looked at a specific ride. I can see its map and I can see Power (and other) data. But there is no link between those two that I can see. And I have tried both Chrome and Opera. Are you sure that it works this way?

Thanks.

Have done very little w/Strava, but in a less "real time/interactive" way than I had hoped I assume that it would do what I am after with via 'Segments' that I define.

Oops - just changed to the 'Modern View' - more there than I was seeing before. Thanks for the tip.

When you're in Garmin Connect, select an activity which should show the map and your route, along with the data on the left side. Then select "Player" in the bar above the map. You can change the variables in the graph to display power, speed, cadence, etc. When you hit play you can watch the data change on the bottom of the map, or you can select a point on the map or the graph to display the data. It's not a great tool, but kind of fun to play with.

It's ok. You know what's better? Suunto Movescount. You can make the map full screen if you want. The line on the map is color coded; you can change whether red means a high HR or a lot of watts or that you were spinning really fast at that point. But it's just much better and especially the relationship between the data and the place on the map the data applies to is a lot more obvious and easier to tease out.

It'd be great if Garmin Connect would even show zones in the heart graph, let alone some way to visualize training load, and total elevation gain in the course builder. (I could go on.)
