Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That Garmin gadget is bulky IMO. I'll just keep looking over my left shoulder.

ooh, shiny!

Thanks for posting. Saving 200 grams on that frame is good.

And I agree on their in house crank and rings are very cool.

Bright green sure seems to be in vogue lately. Maybe I somehow time warped back to the '80s.

Thanks for sharing! Any specific info on weights of complete disc/non-disc bikes? I am particularly interested in the CAAD12 models.

I'd like to take the Slate for a spin. Interesting how they went with 650b wheels so that it could have the same geometry as a Synapse but fit a 40c tire. A little more road race geo than a typical gravel bike I think? 30mm of travel is plenty for the road. This video came out a few hours ago:

Ha ha! I know, right? They look more like bikes than the new sculpted crabons from Scott and Specialized.

So All Road is the new Gravel was the new Cyclocross was the new Track Bike was the new All Terrain Bicycle IS the new All Road?

Disc frame is lighter than non disk so I'm sure that evens out the weight

I would be very surprised if that reduced disc frame weight could actually compensate for additional weight of the disc brakes and the fork. I think the disc models will still be heavier (as complete bikes).

Of course it will be heavier, you might be a WW! I still love my slightly heavy 14 Synapse disc.

Hmmm......I was told by someone who'd ridden the new bikes that the EVO was more "aero". Aside from the new graphics I'm seeing (cool but nothing earth-shaking like the CAAD 8 above) it pretty much looks like the very same EVO. (scratch head)

(shrug)
