Need help identifying Bianchi please

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need help identifying Bianchi please

Does anyone know if this is in fact a Bianchi? If so, any ideas on year or model?

Better pictures, pictures of the bottom bracket, seat cluster, headtube lugs, rear dropouts, and any decals. The Columbus decal, if it has one, would be on the seat tube a few inches below the top tube. You have a decal there but the picture is not sharp enough to tell if it's Columbus or not.

Early to mid-90's with some horrific torture device being passed off as a saddle. Could very well be a Squadra. I don't think it's a Japanese Bianchi.

Bianchigirl over in the Classic and Vintage forum could pin it down for you in a flash. Better pictures, please.
