Cyclo computer - the revist
Hey all,
So I have a wahoo rflkt... cool device, but honestly I find it's a pain in the butt to have to "activate" every time I go for a short jaunt from one place to the next. I mean, it's cool and all, but I'd much rather have something that sits there and turns on when I start to move with no theatrics required. Nice and simple. So, I'm on the hunt again. I want a computer that does the following, and pretty much only the following: Current SPeed, Average Speed, Current Time, Current Cadence. I did end up getting a Wahoo blue SC, which does have ant+, so I can use that if required for the computer, or I could sell the whole lot. The Cateye Sealth 50 came close, but the GPS is not needed so I don't really want to pay for it if I'm not using it. Any suggestions? Trevor |

Trevor http://www.amazon.com/CatEye-Cadence...cateye+cadence I find it funny that you find the RFLKT too much. For me the usage is: starting an app on your phone (Cyclemeter, Wahoo, Strava), pressing a button on the RFLKT, pressing the "go" button when I start riding. Tough stuff. ;) |

Thanks for all the replies, helps a lot!
To address your comment, dr_lha. I agree, it does seem like a quick setup, and perhaps the products are more-so aimed at the weekend warriors. To start the computer, then an app, then start the record feature, and of course stop the record feature at the destination just seems like a lot of setup to me. Especially when I hop on and off my bike 10 times a day, yeah, it gets old. I wanna clip in and go. |
