Cars in the bike lane

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Most incompetent way to harass cyclists ever. Typically, rollin coal is done when overtaking a cyclist. If the vehicle generating the smoke is stopped or moving slowly, it winds up gassing itself and the vehicles around it rather than the cyclist who just cruises by. Plus, many vehicles have their exhaust pipes on the right. If the vehicle is already far right, the smoke doesn't even get dumped in the bike lane.

Simple answer would be seperate the bike
Lane with 2 white lines a foot apart and raised reflectors. It would be safer, encourage more casual riders at relatively little additional cost.
during road reconstructs, roll curbs are better
