There should not be an issue with compatbility if it's not listed.
The frogs are a fantastic but quirky design in their own right. Unlike zero's they are super easy to clip out of, and fairly easy to clip into. Actually you don't clip out at all, you simply slide your heel out--no click. Also, when you clip in, you don't push straight down. You press down with your heel slightly out. Third, there is no friction at all with the free float. With zero's there is still some friction in float, although of course there is no spring centering. My main concern with frogs is that I found the stance (q factor) to be too narrow. The q factor seems great with my triple crank mtb, but not so natural with the double chainring road crank. Note also that my shimano road shoes are far stiffer, lighter and at least feel far more efficient than an mtb shoe + frog setup. I have to admit, the look system feels far more intuitive: jab triangular cleat in and then press down. Click out with light to moderate force. But speedplay's abundant free float is just too strong of a selling point. |

No issue with your opinion of Speedplays relative to Look. I have ridden both pedal types for years.
But what is unacceptable is the tone of your post including your persistent name calling. So to let you know, whenever I see you call me names or anybody else, I will report you which I have in this case. We will see if the moderators agree. Unbelievable what you have extrapolated from my posts and your insistent name calling. And to further let you know, I almost never report anybody because I believe in letting people play and have some latitude as opinions can get passionate at times. But in your case, your comments are so over the top and disrespectful, I have no choice. Join the club. Back to the topic - I've been on Speedplay Zeros for 5 years or so now, after coming from Look Keos. Yes, they do require more rigorous maintenance, and the lack of being able to walk with any sure footing was a detriment, but with the release of their walking cleat / cleat buddy, I have no reason to change to another pedal system. |

I too have ridden Look Keos and prefer Speedplays for their float, dual side engagement, stack height and in particular...more mid foot mounting capability to move the spindle back behind the metatarsals to prevent nerve pressure. The downside of Speedplays once sorted is an issue in particular indigenous to where I ride which is around the coast and shore. Speedplays clog/plug real easy when walking on loose dirt/sand surfaces if unprotected. So I have to watch where I walk and yes, the are pretty awful to walk in like many cleat shoe combos including the Keos. I do like the step in solid engagement of the Keos I rode for several seasons...but the benefits of Speedplays even with their fiddly mounting to the shoe have more positives...others of course won't care as much about copious float or more aft mounting and will really like Look pedals and even more than Speedplays. |

Dude, chill. You come across as pompous and anal. I doubt this is the first time you've heard this. Just enjoy your bike.

I will report you every time you step over the line...because your quips are mean spirited. The moderators removed your previous mean spirited post...thank you board moderators...and will see how they handle this infraction. Again, I am far from a prude...in fact the contrary. But there is no fun in what you post. |

Sam, I have just reported you again. You constructed a fictitious post for me. This isn't acceptable. If you keep this up...you will be banned in no time.

But there is no fun in what you post. He had a hissy fit with me a few weeks ago and reacted the same way. He really doesn't react well to being challenged in any way, as is evidenced in other threads. I don't know why he hasn't been banned yet. |
