Brake pad question

Hey Everyone, need help with something. Did a search, but couldn't find anything.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my Shimano BR-RS785 brakes on my GT Grade 105 Carbon. They are fine at stopping, but when I get down to about 5mph, they start screeching like a banshee. I've tried cleaning the pads and rotors, tried sanding down the pads, everything. I'm to the point where I think that maybe the pads are contaminated and I need to try new pads. Finding pads for these are not easy though. The pads that came with it are J04C pads, but I'm not really finding the resin equivalent of them online anywhere. I also don't know that I necessarily need the cooling fins as I live in a fairly flat area and don't have any long descents. Does anyone know what pads will work for these? Anyone having similar issues with squealing? Any help is appreciated!

You could buy the same pads

Shimano J04C Metal Disc Brake Pads > Components > Drivetrain, Brakes and Pedals > Brake Pads | Jenson USA - Mobile

if your looking for diffrent pads then oem idk. Also how did you narrow it down to the pads? it could be the one or both rotor is contamitanted or damaged.

Indeed. Been dealing with it for a few years on the cross side but yup...

OP - Just get new pads - clean the rotors with brake parts cleaner from the auto parts store. put your new pads on then get up to speed - 15-20+ mph then drag your brake slightly for a few seconds for the pads and rotor to warm up and then brake hard. Should be going fast enough that the rotors get at least 1-2 revolutions when braking hard. Do this 4-10 times and the pads and rotors will be bedded in and you'll be done.

TruckerCo makes organics for the RS785, with and without the cooling fin.
