So I have a Specialized Venge on order and it come's with Specialized Aerofly bars which are flat on the tops and have no room to mount clip on tri-bars, the vendor has offered to swap out the Aerofly bars with Easton EC90 Aero handlebars for no cost, the Easton EC90 can fit the clip on Tri-bars. The Specialized Aerofly bars look really cool and very Aero in deed, I have not seen the Easton EC90's in person, but they are lighter then the Aerofly bars, have flat tops as well, ergonomic and just as stiff as the Aerofly bars according to what i've been reading on the Internet.

I am just a beginning triathlete and wanted to start with a road bike with clip on tri-bars then after a few races purchase a full on Tri bike, plus I like doing climbs and sprints which is why i wanted a road bike as well.... Which handlebars would you go with and why? Specialized Aerofly bars or Easton EC90 aero

If you want to do tri's with road bars and have aero clip on bars then your choice is made for you. Go with the EC90's or some other road bars and add clip ons. If no one makes clip ons for the stock Venge bars then you have to switch them out. I'd keep the stock bars to put back on once you get your dedicated tri bike.

I wish i could keep the Aerofly bars but the vendor is going to swap the Specialized Aerofly bar with the Easton EC90 so i don't get to keep the Specilzied Aerofly. I guess what i really want to know is what am i going to loose or gain going from the Aerofly bar to the Easton EC90 aero

The shape of the drops is different between the two. You may find one or the other is a more comfortable shape. Aerofly looks pretty cool. If I were you and was just going to buy a tt/tri bike soon anyhow, I'd just stick with the aerofly and ride it as a road bike without clip on aerobars. But that's just me.
