Addiction L3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So I am rarely an early adopter, but my old phone needed updating so I have an iPhone 6s. I have had it for a week and it seems quite nice so far.

I'm usually anxious to upgrade the phone as soon as the 2 yr contract is up, but this time I'm holding out. My driod is still doing just fine, so sticking with it. I did, however, buy a new 14" laptop with Windows 10. I'm jumping from W7 to 10, so a bit of a learning curve for me. So far, so good. The touch screen goes a bit wonky every so often, but all seems to be behaving lately.

Fancy!!!

I had to stay kinda cheap, so got a Moto G, and I've had for about that long. I didn't really read up on it much, so didn't know that it didn't do Verizon. So gonna join Ramona on the much maligned T-mobile.

They didn't give us any crappy pizza. They just got it for those poor, overworked election workers.

Here's the price of a vote in Charleston, SC:

Using the formula of money raised divided by votes received, it costs about $66.67 per vote to win the mayors office in Charleston. it appears that about 20% of the local population voted today.

Thanks for the comps, guys. Tell you the truth, I'm surprised myself at how well it presents online. The eyes, in particular, I expected to lose sharpness after posting, but it held up pretty good. I actually aim for better illumination under the wings, but I thought the interaction between the two eagles would overrule my image quality reservations in terms of interest generated. Glad you like it, maybe I'll post another shot from that series.

Two hours on the trainer this am. On the TT bike. Man, that was hard, in a @LAJ ish way. Burned 1000 cal by 6:30 am though. Sweet.

I won my TT on Sunday and PRed it but I wasn't happy with the effort, total hack job. Head was unfocused due to equipment issues. But I do feel like the TT bike & my position are coming along.

Fabulous eagles @BillyD. You have my vote for winner of the Addiction photo contest!

PS I'm dieting and have lost 5 pounds. Don't be too impressed though because the impetus for the diet is that I had gained 9 pounds. (Not muscle.)
