Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I still gotta figure out what to call 'em. I guess the BB bearings/spindle unit's full description is "Threadfit 30i", I got no idea what the "i" means. And the BB shell standard is T47.

...someone should look at how much of the spoke went into the nipple past the point where it broke off (usually right near the rim exit). It needs to extent through and support the head.

Hey now, wait a minute.

I was offering solid advice. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

In addition, Mechanics did not make the Heathpack list of liars. There are two of us that did make that list.

I'm pretty sure Chrysler approves of Silly Putty for warranty work, but not JB Weld.

That's what's holding half my front bumper on. I think some youth tried to use my car to do some sort of jumping maneuver which managed to break all the stupid plastic connectors on the one side. Not the little plastic things that go into the hole, the plastic part that has the hole in it.

Upgrade opportunity. Not a robust aftermarket for cool minivan headlights though.

I just checked my club's ride listing for tomorrow. Holy moly, there are nine rides posted. That's pretty good for November!

That said, all but one of them are too slow...

I mostly wear bibs, but I have a nice pair of Specialized shorts the boss gave me (sun-faded display item). It feels funny, to me, wearing non-bib shorts.

Makes me think about the shorts NOT BIBS shorts thread.

I use both shorts AND bibs, and don't really have a preference.

The "i" probably stands for internal, since that's where the bearings sit.
