In other news: Baby WO2W may finally have a name. After months of agonizing and trying to pick something that wasn't too weird, but not too popular, we landed on a name that has been in the top ten for 2+ decades, and was number 1 for a little over a decade until a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. Full name: Jacob Sylvan Whitney. (I'm Jonathan Whitney BTW)
Yeah, it has been mega popular, but looking at some maps it appears that during its longest run at the top, it was mostly northern and midwestern states that used it, not the south/southwest where we are. We thought really hard and couldn't think of a single Jacob we knew growing up and we couldn't think of any families we knew with kids named Jacob. And really, we just love the way the full name sounds. The middle name requires some backstory, but the short version: a band I've known for years released an album called Sylva recently and it's gorgeous and helped me grieve my father's passing. It's of Latin origin and means wood or forest. Man, naming kids is hard. |

If only you had kept that tie, you wouldn't need YouTube.

...I kept some ties from waaaay back when I wore them to work in an office. I kept them mainly to remind me never to work in an office again. :) They come in handy for funerals, however. |

I've never known what these addiction threads are for, but just wanted to make a post here. Hello. Space shuttle. 2-4.

Missed!!
http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i3...gle-F-6742.jpg For some reason I recorded a lot of misses this particular day. Just a guess, but it may be that with the abundance of eagles in the area it causes them to rush their attack and just miss. Haste makes waste. But this particular case is harder to explain. His feet managed to grab the fish enough to lift it out of the water, yet the talons didn't penetrate enough to hold and keep the prey. Methinks he needs to sharpen his weapons before going hunting. |
we had a bat latched onto the building for an entire day
not a bird, and underwhelming by comparison, but i thought it was cute with its lil bat ears. he was the size of a golfball https://dgtzuqphqg23d.cloudfront.net...RY-768x768.jpghttps://dgtzuqphqg23d.cloudfront.net...QY-768x768.jpg |

Aborted my Friday indoor session this AM. Supposed to be a 40 minute FTP repeat but my legs and mind just weren't into it.
I watched the rest of the people complete their tests and I swear the triathletes and TT people just about orgasm during trainer workouts. Trainers = self-flagellation. |

Considering we have a reasonably sharp brain-trust within this thread I figure I'd ask here first...
So...I've been fit. I have a custom geometry, that bike will be built over the Spring and hopefully I'll have it for D2R2 2016... Nevertheless... I have not been able to translate my fit into everyday reasonable ballpark spec's that I can use to evaluate production frames in order to satisfy the various aspects of N+1... Without further ado, here's my geo...how do I translate this into useful information?: https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...10632874_o.jpg |

@UnfilteredDregs : subtract the numbers that are on a frames geo sheet from the ones you have there, fill in the space with combinations of stems / bar reach and seatpost / setback and saddles
i.e. frame says reach is 300, 401-300=100(mm) = 100mm stem |
