Happy wife, happy life. :)

Here's another one. When I am out on a weekend ride for longer than three hours I start getting texts from husband and daughter... "Are you dead somewhere?" "When are you coming home?" etc...

I'm trying to get some mileage dangit (and I haven't seen the rest of the trail yet.) :ride:

I think it's weird. The living room should be as comfortable and accommodating for guests as possible IMO.

Put them in your bedroom instead if you don't have extra storage space. That's what I do in my 1br apt.

I ignore the cracked vinyl siding on my house but I wipe my bike down when it gets just dirty enough that it bugs me. It doesn't take much

Blankets are for winners...

I moved the bikes from the living room to the bedroom to appease my wife and now she wants us to rent a garage to move them outside...

I spent the last hour looking at this website when I was supposed to be working.

You are projecting your life onto mine.

I don't live in a 1br apartment. Formal living room is nearest the front door and bedrooms are upstairs.

Sorry I wasn't specific. House is getting too big for me anyway as the kids go off to college.

A surgical scar covered left shoulder that's an inch lower than my right and that always pops out of place. And mismatched tanned arms/pale white hands.

Glad I'm not the only one with a stash!

You should. As long as you have another to keep dust off the bike.

Naw, just answering your question and presenting my living situation as a counter-example. I still think it's weird to keep bikes in the living room, even if you have two :D

I have grease marks on practically every pair of pants I own!

Wait . . . you measure the size of your ass?

Scare the doctor with your slow heart rate and set the alarm at the hospital in case of surgery! (hopefully minor)

That's a start.

Constantly bumping my head on one bike or another when I work in the garage.

c_bake 11-02-15 07:43 PM

My personal vehicle, a 1994 Corolla has 302K miles yet I'm contemplating which will be my next bike. That Ritte frameset, or a TI frame. Ugh.

silversx80 11-02-15 08:26 PM

I get strange looks when I mention I went on a short, 1.5 hr ride.

redtires 11-02-15 10:15 PM

I routinely forget everything I have to do........when I'm on BF, which is a lot.

What I find weird, and sad, are all the people who hide things from their wife. I wonder what their wives are hiding from them?
