New Wheel Build

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Wheel Build

I'm going to build a set of wheels. But first, I need to check with the Bike Forums Brain Trust to be sure I choose the correct components.

You're doing it wrong, Jones. Build 'em and post 'em so we can rag on 'em.

BTW, has "BFBT" become an official 41 acronym, yet? If not, I propose it.

If your wheels are nice and expensive: You really don't need that.
If your wheels are cheap and crappy: They won't last.
If your wheels are standard: For just the same money you could've built a really nice wheelset.

Doesn't matter... as long as you don't attach them to a SRAM drivechain.

You have over 28,000 posts in about the same amount of time that I've been on this board. Which is mind boggling to me, but nonetheless you should be giving the advise, not asking. Knowledge increases with internet post count.
