Can I get some help here?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Can I get some help here?

I didn't get a chance to jump into the original thread before it was locked, but I gotta say... the guy was snarky, but he was right. It's not his fault that a retailer has an incredibly liberal return policy. If he wants to take advantage of it, fine, maybe not what you or I would do but the company offers it and he's not being dishonest by using it.

That was my takeaway. I'm sure things quickly degraded from there.

I have got this idea for a troll thread in the Over 50 forum. Tell me what you think. I'd call it something like "Morning Stiffness." The basic premise is that since I have turned 50 I notice more and more that I wake up with morning stiffness after a long, hard ride the day before. Sometimes it's so bad that I have to massage myself in bed to get it to subside. I'd finish it up with asking whether other 50-plus men wake with more morning stiffness than they did when they were young lads and if so, what's the best way to avoid it.

This is why shaving is important. It makes it much easier to effectively massage away your morning stiffness, with or without assistance.

My hair doesn't creep that high, but I think incorporating the idea into the thread would give it more, uh, temerity.

Kind of on the same subject line... at what age is it safe to stop wearing a helmet?
