It's turning to winter here in the northeast US, so it's getting cold. It was 26* this morning when I woke up and the projected high is 50*. I like riding in the 60*-70* range, but will ride in this.

Weather down here in Central Florida is just awful, waking up to sunny skies and 75 degrees. Looks like I'll be on the trainer again!

Holding up very pretty (blue skies, 70s F) for another couple of days, and then some (relatively) nasty stuff coming. Lots of 41ers would ride all winter here in Houston, but I have become rather selective in my almost old age.

Winter hit us here (finally) the other day. Roads are still covered in ice but the city is working hard to replace it with salt and grit.
Even so, the weather has been great for riding, especially the clear cold mornings under the stars and planets.
Got the studded tires on the cx bike, road bike is sitting next to the the rollers in the basement ready for really bad weather.

Northern Virginia along the Potomac River. Winters are mild here, so riding is not only possible, but really pleasant for all but late January to mid-February, when things begin to ice up. Roadways will soon be treated with a brine chemical to lower the freezing point of water, and the salty dust is foul in one's mouth. Probably the worst part of winter riding. That, and salty grit in the drive train and on rims.

Mostly, it's really pleasant to ride year round here.

It was 50+ today in CT. Sun wasn't up until 6:45am or so, but I still got 16 miles in before work! I did a few rides last weekend in < 40 degrees. I will probably keep going till it drops below 25 or so.

Another high pressure system here in SoCal so it's around 80º today and for the next few. I like a temp of 65º so our winter is usually pretty good for riding. My friend in Minnesota hates when I post a bike riding photo in winter months. We are supposed to get plenty of rain this winter which is badly needed. I guess I better get some fenders and a bike that will take them.

It gets into the 40s overnight, so mornings are cool, but mid 70s is normal by afternoon. I already miss the triple digit heat of summer.

Overall it's still too hot and humid for this time of year. We have been setting several high heat records. There was a front that is passing by today. Supposedly, it is going into the 70's and 60's. Personally, my favorite bike weather is high 60's - low 70's with low humidity and some cloud cover. Medium winds don't hurt either. Now if my leg would just heal up...

I left my bike in the truck overnight and forgot to check my water bottle before going out on my lunchtime ride. Water was frozen and I had to lick at it like a hamster.

I am experiencing snow for the first time in my life! Moved to Boise ID earlier this year from the Bay Area in CA, and love it! The snow isn't sticking, so its more wet, which I don't mind. Can't wait for some snow to accumulate so I can use the fatbike for what it intended!

For those that don't include your location in your profile, it would be nice to know where you live to relate it to your current weather.

This time of year in the Tampa, FL area we receive about one cool front/week where there might be some rain associated with the front, then a brief period of cooler weather (low 60's), then back into the mid 80's. We'll have some stronger cold fronts later in Dec/Jan that push the temps into the 30's briefly. Nice to have 12 months out of the year to ride, but the downside is we're relatively flat.

It warmed up about 10 degrees, so we are now at 5F here in Anchorage. Is supposed to get even warmer and we should get some snow (and maybe rain boo!)

It is good cycling weather. You just move from roads to trails and from skinny to fat tires. My ideal cycling weather is about 60F and overcast. I've been in the frozen North for too long and anything over 80F is too warm. On the plus side, I'll ride if it is above -15F.
