SRAM 10spd chainrings w/ 11spd group

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

SRAM 10spd chainrings w/ 11spd group

Has anyone run SRAM 10spd chainrings with an 11speed group. I'm going full SRAM red 11 and already have a quark Elsa with 10 spd rings. I'm wondering if there's really any difference between the 10 and 11 speed rings. Most other companies rings are 10/11 spd compatible.

Is there any issue using slightly worn rings with a new chain? Rings probably have 4000 miles on them

4000 miles is practically new for chain rings.

Anecdotal evidence posted elsewhere suggests no problem. SRAM has gone from 10-speed rings to 10/11-speed rings recently so it seems that the differences are minimal. Just be sure to use the chain that is right for your cassette.
