What is you favorite [bike] part?
I know where this could go, so please avoid the low hanging fruit.
What one part do you especially love? Not generically like a stem, or RD, but specific part.
For me I have some old - NOS - wood rims I just use for stretching tubulars. I'd think #2 is an Extralite stem that was on my son's bike. I've had those rims by me in my office/s for 30+ years.

My Brooks Flyer saddle (see avatar).
Between the smell of the leather, the sting of the whip (oops, sorry...).
Still, I love it...

My favorite part, purely from an aesthetic perspective, is the totally useless first gen syncro shifter. The curved index toggle lever in brass next to the shifter lever just looks classy. If only it worked.
From a functional standpoint the current campy shifters are phenomenal, and I absolutely love the way enve seatmasts work and look.

I think it's the understated silver paint that covers my bikes frame...I always admire it after I wipe it clean.

Pretty much a tie. Williams carbon clinchers or the sprint shifters on my Di2 bike. Either way the pay dividends every ride.

I had a MASI track bike stolen in about 1985. the BIG bummer was it had my Brooks Pro on it. I ride the Brooks Swift - weekly, the other Brooks Pro sits on a shelf.

The little set screw that holds in the brakes pads. I'm especially partial to the left rear one.....

I love the look of brakesets, from the industrial caliper one, to a simple cantilever type.
Like this one, even though it cost more than the frame I build it on

I DO! I DO! I DO!
My sister got me a very nearly complete Dura Ace AX groupset on the 30 December 2015 as a belated Christmas present. I'm getting a MIELE Columbus SL framer converted to attach the top of the downtube mounted shifters and the proper shifter cable guides. That's going to be one sweet ride. All i need to finish the groupset is the front hub and the Dura Ace AX handle bar. Wow! that Dura Ace AX stem is LIGHT. I love the looks and function of the Dura Ace AX brqake calipers. I was lucky a year or two ago and got 5 pairs of Dura Ace AX brake shoes for $2.50 a pair. My seatpost is 27.2mm and fits that MIELE frame which is why I'm getting it professionally converted to mount the shifters and run the cables over the bottom bracket and chainstay instead of under it.
Cheers

Actually, it's interesting how brakes are a common favorite. Come to think of it, they're one of my favorites, too. I don't have anything very fancy - just Athena - but they're pretty (silver), and nothing else works and feels as perfect.

Campy Centaur ergo-shifters from 2010. Best combination of function and value.
<-- I also enjoy riding my steel frame I built decades ago, with the mish-mash upgraded Campy drivetrain.
Campy Record 9-10 speed silver hubs from mid 2000 decade. Beautiful. I just have 1 on my race wheel.

On my road bike I would say my favorite single part is the Nitto lugged quill stem. It's just nice looking and functional. On my mountain bike I would say it is the RockShox Reverb dropper post because it is total functional awesomeness.

I rode one of those from the late 70s until about 81. Cute, yes, but the bushing/pins wore out and it shifted poorly. Replaced it with a Suntour Superbe Pro and it was much better.

I would say that my Campy Ergo levers are my favorite part. That, and most any kind of clipless pedal after so many years of toe straps and numb feet. When I got my first pair of Look 166, I think that they were called, in 1987, they were the bomb~
