Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That thread was prophetic. Most new top-of-the-line bikes are coming with both disk brakes and power settings... Dial it up you hamer dropers!

I always thought this one was entertaining, especially Stumon's post.

It's amazing how many names he was called, and no one as banned.

That will remain the all time classic. Certainly worth a read. Maybe we can convince the mods to unlock it???

Maybe not best thread, but best single OP in my opinion is the one I bumped the other day about bullet PROOF road racing tires. "Slamdancing" gets me every time.

There are already steel vs carbon vs aluminum vs Ti wars also, but that doesn't stop a new one from erupting weekly.

I am not going to search for it, but the thread about Vicelord handcuffed by the 7-11 security guard mid-ride always stuck me as priceless.

The one with the donkey picture was epic, but deleted within a few minutes so seen by very few. Unfortunately, I can't unsee it.

Pretty much anything by HBrown is good for a laugh if you like cat 6 racing. I'm just not sure whether he is trolling or genuinely deluded about his abilities.
