Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very interesting, thanks for the info.
A friend purchases their forks 10 at a time, so maybe they give him a better deal than most people. They quoted $429 with shipping, and a price drop if he wants 10 wheelsets.

It probably wouldn't be feasible to organize a group buy here due to shipping costs to individuals, but maybe they would do that for a club that wants to make a group purchase.

If someone were willing to distribute them to the buyers, it could work out...hint, hint. Shipping inside the USA should only be about $30 for the pair, once you get the right cartons that is.

that's the problem. Shipping to buyers would probably kill the deal, and the guy that organized the deal would have to get them packaged individually.

It would likely work best if a local club wanted to do a group buy.

I'm asking the people I ride with about their interest in a group buy, but many of them are more interested in trying to hook up something with ENVE.

Even with a big break over dealer cost, I can't swing that right now. I'm the poor boy that rides with a rich crowd.

As you know, it is two totally different situations.

the best part about riding with them? No matter how much they spend, I'm always faster.

You can buy a second or two, but tactics help too.

I've several chips on my bike already, all in all, I would/will still buy from them again and either be more specific on the clear coating or buy it just primed and have it custom painted in US (~400 for a paint job). In the end it still will cost < $900 for an excellent frame custom painted.
Didn't ride the bike was much as I wanted but I have ~1200 miles and one crash on it (wheel overlap) so far I'm still in love with the frame.

And for the record, I'm a heavy rider >220lbs riding in the sierra foothills where I cross the 50 mph on descents, no assplosions.

the bike these were on was stolen 4/25/18, but they worked great until then. I bought a 56mm rim from WW about a year later, and built up a Powertap wheel for that bike, and was using it when the bike was stolen, so I still have a 38mm WW wheel sitting around.
