Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Almost as light as Red but with the 16 and 18- tooth cogs included on the 12-26. Similar price. I am very seriously looking at that.

They're a bit expensive, but this would get some more life out of several sets of Dura Ace 7850 hubs that are now sitting in the garage unused.

And I could make my Nimble Crosswinds 11 speed too!!

It's only about $2/g savings over Ultegra, totally worth it.

That's pretty slick considering they claim you can run their 11 speed cassette on a 10 speed freehub body. Plus it's less weight than Dura-Ace at a lower retail price.

Cheaper than a DA or Red cassette.

Not as light as Red, but damn I like that 12 tooth smallest cog and getting both the 18 and 16. Essentially an ideal cassette.

Seriously, the 11 tooth cog should be a specialty item that they only put on pro bikes....the rest of is don't need them

11 tooth cogs are useful on CX bikes which typically come with relatively small 46/36 rings up front.

Still a good bit cheaper than a SRAM XG-1099/1199.

Hardened steel! Why not as well as Ultegra? And for sure better than the Ti cogs on Dura Ace and SR.

As with red cassettes I wonder about the strength of whatever internal spider holds it together over the long haul, but it's probably fine, and light, and it comes in a configuration I'd actually use.

- Single-piece design, machined from solid block of chromoly steel.

Yeah, the Red and now this "copy" are sheer genius. Best cassette design concept ever. If it ever trickles down, that would be stupendous.

Right, but I always wonder about the integrity of the thin bits. I am, however, neurotic by nature and obsessive about potential failure points. I'm sure it's fine, but I can psych myself out of just about anything.

well if it makes you feel any better, some of the most powerful sprinters in the world use SRAM Red cassettes. I the you'd be fine on this.

If you want something to be concerned about, try an aluminum cassette.

Cassettes

Btw, they work fine, but don't last very long.

Never underestimate the weight weenies. I could start a thread with: "Look! This seat post saves 80 grams over the next-lightest crabon post and it only costs $600!" and I'd get a bunch of, "Thanks for sharing! Gonna put this on my upgrade list!" responses.
