Garmin Vector version 1 or version 2
 

Im seeing some attractive pricing on the Garmin Vector 1. I'm also seeing very little functional difference between the first version or the second version.

What's the benefit of the second version?

I think the pod is a little better built. The original had an issue with pods breaking so they updated the system. There might be other updates, but I do believe that was the main one.

IIRC, the V2 version has a better, stronger pod and an improved install set up, making it easier to swap between bikes.

You can update to the V2 pods for $150 I think, so if they're really a good deal, then even if you upgrade them you won't be out of pocket.

I love my V1 pedals and it isn't that much trouble to change them over to another bike. No way I would shell out $150.00 to upgrade to save a minute or so. That is the only difference.
