EC34 headsets - what's the *outside* diameter?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

EC34 headsets - what's the *outside* diameter?

Hi folks.

Can anyone tell me what's the outside diameter of a Cane Creek EC34 headset lower cup? (110 series or whatever, Chris King NoThreadset 1-1/8" works too). By outside diameter I mean the diameter of the bearing cup - their specs only mention inside diameter.

If anyone knows the crown diameter of an Easton EC90 SL fork that'd help too.

I've been looking for this for the past hour and it's either a case of my not knowing how to Google properly (yes, I can be that stupid) or the info just isn't there (easily anyway).

Thanks. :-)

Are you trying to replace bearings for them? The outside diametre is almost never measured or listed on a spec list. What's important is the inside diametre.

If your Easton is regular 1 1/8" then crown race is going to be 30mm, if it is the tapered one then it will need a 39.8mm (usually listed as 40) diametre crown race.
