Raleigh Merit 1 impressions?
Hi, I'm looking forward to buy a road bike in the future and the Raleigh Merit 1 is appealing especially the price ($650 in my LBS, and $600 in the manufacturer's website). Anyone seen this bike or have any idea how good/bad it is for an entry level cyclist? Is it worth it, or just save/spend extra money on a better road bike? The Merit 1 the Ravenio 1's replacement that's why I think I can't see any reviews for the particular bike. Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't buy from an LBS that charges more than msrp. I would also look for something with a carbon fork instead of alloy. Do you have Performance Bike nearby? They have a lot of decent entry level options
