First Group Ride on Saturday

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The following is a must-see tutorial for anyone before a group ride. Be sure to use some of these sayings.....

Lots of sarcasm in this thread. Ride smoothly and predictably. Keep your eyes up the road so you're ready for what's coming, but also keep the wheel in front in your vision. So as to not overlap.

And have fun.

'Twas 45 degree day and raining, ride canceled. Today it's snowing and going to be 30-38 degrees for the rest of the week.

Won't be some time til I get yelled at boys, sorry.
