Anyone have a Fitwell

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone have a Fitwell

I can't find any info or reviews on these bikes. I'm really considering one, it seems to check all the boxes. Tapered full carbon fork, clearance for 30c, good group, lots of sizes, nice price. Anyone have one? Anyone know someone who has one?

Good question

The only negative I found on them is it has the 5700 group set

They may be great bikes, but I can't get past the name.

True the name is silly but the bike is speced very well. Unlike most bikes it has a COMPLETE Shimano drive train including brakes and crankset.

Some sizes are selling for $650 and Nashbar has it in all sizes for $950. So when they have their ubiquitous 25% off sale it will be under $800.

But there is absolutely no reviews about it. It don't even know the weight.

Old post but figured I'd update it. The weight is 18.3lbs without pedals for the small frame.

I find that hard to believe since that is about the same weight as a CAAD12 105 rim brake model.

Thats what it weighed at performance bikes and honestly that's what it feels like too. The CAAD12 is closer to low 17's with a bigger frame. My small frame is technically 50cm, but rides more like a 52cm due to the longer reach.

18.06 lbs for size 56

2016 Cannondale SuperSix EVO & CAAD12 road bike lineup - Actual Weights - Bikerumor

If that bike is 18.3 for a small that is pretty impressive for weight/dollars ratio. Most bikes in that price range are 20 lbs +

Thanks, much better numbers. Ill weight it again at a LBS but that's what it was at performance bikes. And yes I am aware. Most of the bikes in the price range I was looking at (Tiagra to 105) were in the 20-22lbs. Allez comp in 52CM was 21lbs w/ out pedals.
