Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think its best to avoid those old lugged carbon frames. Looking at how rusted the chain, cassette and derailleurs are would make me even more nervous about the aluminum lugs

at $150? Hell yes.

It's way too small for me, but it is worth the money.

Even if it doesn't fit you, it's worth the price(unless it's hot).

Its a parts bike.

I'd buy it for the saddle alone.

Yeah, that chain looks completely locked up with rust, like the whole bike was left outside all winter.

After passing my close inspection, I'd buy it. Nothing in my area comes close at that price.

I'd buy it. Much of that bike can be restored with some TLC, and perhaps a few replacement bolts.

Thank y'all

He wrote in ad, " tubular glueing days are behind me".

Do you have to glue those bike frames?

Presumably he means it has tubular tires, which are a kind of tire where the tire is a tube shape, and you attach it to the rim with glue.

If you don't want to have to deal with that, you'd need to get new wheels.

BTW I'll add to the chorus. For $150 I'd buy that just for the parts.

Thanks everyone for their help.

A friend looked at it and said they think it was left under house all winter.
I decided between the sand and salt and that it needed "loving" not to buy it.

Thank you again
