Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Or TV broadcasts of it in the US?

I've been watching the Romandie on a channel I never heard of before beIN sports. It's good coverage. I'm hoping they'll cover the giro as well.

EDIT: I just checked, and they are covering the Giro! It's recording on my DVR right now! I'm so stoked. Go FIOS!

Between steephill and cyclingfans.com you have a fair chance to find a stream from most of the top couple tiers of UCI cycle racing.

BeIn has apparently picked up Some of Universal Sports' coverage.

Or just download the HD version of the daily Eurosport coverage presented by Carlton Kirby and Sean Kelly at cyclingtorrents.nl so you can watch in the evening at your leisure. I've been doing this for years. It's usually posted within an hour or two of the finish of the race, so sometime in the afternoon of Eastern Standard Time. You pay $10 or so to get your credits up, and that's normally good enough for a season of the Grand Tours.
