Vittoria Graphene Tires

Just out of curiosity if anyone has rode on them. I usually ride Armadillos or Conti's but compared to the Armadillo Elites, the all-rounder Rubino Graphene is comparable in price, claims an increased puncture resistance and weighs about 4 grams less per tire (foldable tires). We compared them as Rubino's 700c x 25mm were 8 and some change compared to Dillo's 12+... Just would like some good, bads, and uglies if anybody has inputs...Thanks...

I was using conti GP4000s II tires for a couple years prior and loved them. Took a chance in trying the Vittoria G+ with all the hype and I have liked them. No punctures in roughly 450 miles. They feel sticky, smooth and fast. A little bit smoother than the GP's and corner nicely. still not 100% confident in my cornering with them yet, but that will come in time as I continue to push my speed and get a better feel. I have ran over my fair share of last minute glass and thought for certain I'd be onthe side of the road, but so far so good. If I needed another set of tires, Id buy another set.

took my bike for a service today at my LBS ... the young lad who booked it in also made mention of the Vittoria G+... thats what he uses on his fixie.... and he says that he rides like a maniac ..., skidding etc and that they are superb tyres

I have the Corsa Speed G+. So far a really nice tire. It only comes in 23 but I prefer that size on all but my Pacenti wheels so it's all good. Smooth riding tire with great grip. Can't comment on longevity but no cuts as of yet.

I mounted a set of Rubino Pro G+ 700x28s on the wife's bike, they only have one weekend of riding on them, about 65 miles. I can say that they mount well under the stated width-- on the 16mm internal Mavics, they mounted to 26.1mm. By contrast, the 700x28 Michelins on my 23mm internal wheels mount to 31.5mm. There seems to be something to the graphene claims, as my wife's average speed for the day went up almost 1mph overall, and her avg. HR dropped around 10bpm, so they do indeed appear to be quicker rolling.

I reserve any real judgement until the tires are past that 500 mile mark-- in my experience, every tire I've tried has been great for about 500 miles. Then things tend to go sideways.

Which one do you have, the Corsa?

I'm considering getting either Rubino Speed or Corsas for my next set.

Running 700x28 Rubino G+ wire bead on my commuter/touring bike. Love 'em, super fast, good ride, good grip.

I was a big fan of the old Rubino so I didn't think twice about getting the G+. I got a bunch of the old Rubino on closeout for $10.
