Help on Craigslist deal

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Only if it works well, and doesn't need additional servicing. The guys himself says it hasnt been serviced in 2 years. Check for rusting of the cables, and smooth shifting. Also give it a once lookover. Otherwise not bad at all.

I agree with shafter, that's a pretty sweet bike for $300. Assuming it's mostly in decent shape I'd jump on it.

It's not a 2008, it's a 2006 and a chick bike.

I'm going by the assumption the bike fits the OP size-wise. But yeah probably should mention, make sure it fits you before you take the plunge, OP.
