Be careful when riding around cliffs

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just for the record, not every mountain biker is a foolish idiot with no grasp of the fact that reality is real.

My kid is likely on top of Half Dome - or climbing down, or worse right now. Climbing it does not interest me in the least.

Yeah, but that's not a cure.

Let's blame it all on Youtube. There was stupid before Youtube, but now there's an audience for stupidity.

When I was in college I landed a summer job for four years as a wire lather. We wove together the rebar prior to pouring the concrete. Worked many high rises in lower Manhattan back in the sixties. Yeah, I'm old. Anyway, walking the perimeter forms 200 ft up was no big deal when you're young and stupid. Now, I can't even bring myself to watch that video.

Yes, I heard that @CliffordK can be quite flatulent, so I would definitely be careful if riding around him.

(As for the ass in the video, anyone who is so unconcerned with their own safety....well, we'd probably be better off without them. What a colossal ASS!)
