Homemade energy bar recipe

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Homemade energy bar recipe

Anyone have any? I've looked up a few online, but I was curious to see if anyone has a favorite or one of their own...

53-11 had a thread a couple of weeks ago, search under his name. I think it was pezcycling.com

I tried the recipe with molasses as the sweetner and dried cranberries as the fruit--the dish was too small and deep, they were like brownies. I got some more cranberries and I'm trying them in a large shallow dish this weekend. I'll post the results.
