"Do it all" bike build advice?
Hi all,
I currently have an aluminum Neuvation F100, which I love. There are a lot of steep hillclimb races near me that I have been competing in and thus I have put a mountain bike RD on the bike so that I can run a 36-tooth rear cassette (low gear of 39x36). However, there are also a lot of crits nearby that I'd like to get into - obviously I'd want to change the cassette/wheel to get tighter gearing. Does anyone see a problem with keeping a mtb RD (Sram X7) on the bike when I change from running a 12-36 to an 11-25 or the like?
Ideally, I'd love to be able to use this bike for a hillclimb on a weekend and a mid-week crit without too much modification.
Thank you!
