Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I see the argument against talking about something that was run in a different time zone and then not broadcast without delay. Talking about it before the delayed broadcast is surely spoiling. That's not the case here. The USA broadcast is concurrent with the event. Would you suggest that talking about the Super Bowl outcome right after the game ends is spoiling, because some folks were out to dinner and haven't watched their DVR? I can't see that.

There are no specifics in it, but there is literally a sticky titled "Posting spoilers - do NOT do it!" by Tom himself. I'd suggest that active pro cycling results (at least within the past several days, if not more) should be avoided. There is a whole subforum for it...

Not in the same league with the all time best name in the Tour: Djamolidine Abdujaparov

Actually, USA Swimming Officials and Coaches have to get a background check every other year. In addition, Club Board members are required to get a background every other year as well. The BC for Coaches and Officials is much more extensive than the BC for Board members.

I hope that I have a good ride this morning - if I do, my takeaway will be that Aldi cinnamon rolls popped from a tube are cycling superfood.
