Is my rear brake housing too long?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is my rear brake housing too long?

As stated in title: is my rear brake housing too long? (the one you can see on the left)

If so, what is the impact?

I am asking because, when I lift my bike (to carry it around or so...), the front wheel always turns wildly right (regardless if how I hold the bike). Can that be because of the housing?

Also, when riding without hands, the bike feels much less stable than my other bikes, can too long a housing cause this?

Thank you!

It looks long. You just want it long enough that you can turn the bars fully in both directions.

Stability could be from headset not being properly adjusted. But again, I don't understand why so many people are concerned with riding without their hands

When housing starts to make an S shape, it is usually too long.

Can't see your picture. Cables should be absolute minimum length that doesn't keep the bars from turning fully to both sides. There can be some tension in the cables as the bars approach the maximum turn, just not enough to displace the brake calipers. This gives the best looking setup.
