what saddle is this?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not all SMP's share the same design and dimensions, for example, the TRK nose drops lower than Dynamic.

Same here! I loved the comfort at first, but the chafing eventually killed it for me.

oh i tried a variety of them at the bike shop. the general profile stays the same, really wide nose at the base. my ass likes the romin evo a lot more, narrow nose, with wide support.

I'm also trying out the chicane in about a week. scored a nice deal online

Try the Power, similar to the Romin and has a shorter nose.

The SMPs are slightly narrower than Romin Evo at the nose.

It's strange you'd claim to have familiarity, yet not recognize the most distinctive saddle on the road.
