Lightweight jersey (Voler?)
I'm looking to get one more jersey. I've currently got a couple of mid-weight jerseys, which are alright but too heavy for summer.
My favorite jersey is an LG carbon jersey that I got on super-sale. I love how light and airy it is. I'm looking for something with similar breathability and weight for the heat.
I'd also like something with decent graphics options at a mid-price point (<$70), hence Voler.
None of the local shops carry anything other than fairly standard mid-weight stuff, so I can't even check anything.
What have other people liked for lightweight jerseys? How does Voler compare to the others for weight/breathing?

Like most jerseys, they saturate when its really humid and feel a lot like a wet blanket.

dhb ASV Short Sleeve Jersey at Wiggle
dhb ASV Hyper Light Short Sleeve Jersey also at Wiggle
I've got the first one, it's been my go-to for the really hot days here in Ohio recently (90ish, 70+% humidity). The hyper light looks like it would fit the bill, as well

Morvelo Nth series or Superlight series.
You can catch it on sale at the Morvelo website or on Wiggle.

Check Pactimo. They are having a sale right now and their Summit jerseys are quality (or so @Heathpack says.) They're going for $75 right now.

I found the castelli velocissimo to be good, on sale at 30% off for $70.
Castelli Velocissimo Full-Zip Jersey - Short Sleeve - Men's | Backcountry.com
I'd be curious if anyone can compare that to other options though (it was a massive improvement over my "first" jerseys so now I have 3 of them). I've heard pactimo recommended by other riders but haven't tried one.

Garneau has some:
Review: Louis Garneau Performance Carbon Short Sleeve Jersey | road.cc
The carbon is basically a marketing thing, but the jersey I've got is very good (Carbon ETS).

I'm biased because the company founder is a friend and they're local, but these guys make really excellent lightweight summer jerseys-
Cutaway USA | Cutaway Full Cloud? - White
They also have a "carbon" jersey-
Cutaway USA | Cutaway Pro Carbon Jersey - Maroon
I've tried both on, they're the most comfortable jerseys I've ever worn. My team's kit comes from them and it's held up well for the last few years, so it's durable too. Slightly above your price point, though.

Dan,
A lot of the local running events in the area gives out Cutaway's as their event jersey.(now I know why) They seem to be good quality. They also tend to run true to size. Give your friend some props. He/she is putting out some good product.

Rapha has sales on right now. Their Pro Team aero jersey is by far the BEST summer jersey I have ever worn. You will need to size up by about 1/2 size.

Another vote for Pactimo.
Earlier this year they ran old jersey swap and for my old jersey I got 50%off
Paid about $65. Pactimo is the lightest of my jerseys now

Craft makes some great stuff.. However, even with the sale price, not sure I'd spend this much, but it looks like a jersey to meet your criteria.
