where's the 25% off nashbar coupon

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Check their site daily. For 25%, you might need to wait a couple weeks though. None of their coupon codes are anything special, it might as well be factored in their regular prices since every week they offer at least a couple days of 20-25% off.

Yeah, they just had a 21% off during labor day weekend. they may post 20% once a month, I would expect bigger than 20% for black friday/cyber monday.

25% is not too common. But I've seen 20% and 22% once a month. Patience young padawan.

In short, going to sell him the Synapse even if it costs me some money out of pocket to grab a nashbar 105 carbon road bike for myself because he was legitimately excited about 'how fast' it was. Feels like I'm doing the 'right thing' by passing the gift on..

Trying to figure out if I'm a 56 or a 59 for that bike as well. My current 58cm Synapse feels a little big to me as far as forward reach goes. I'm 6'1''. Not sure where that puts me on the Nashbar.

I hated the Alloy 2015 Synapse I rode. It felt really sluggish. I know how those Mafia figures feel like when they put on cement shoes.

Unfortunately for the OP, it excludes bikes, frames, and wheels.

Have your friend buy the Nashbar bike?

I have a Nashbar frame for beater/winter/utility use. I would NEVER trade my CAAD9 for a Nashbar bike.

6'1'' with 33'' true inseam. 56cm or the 59cm? Or should I have more measurements on hand to make this choice?

Also - 2013 alum synapse 105 - some folks would hold onto that vs. carbon nash road bike 105?

25% is on, make sure you get the geometry chart right. Check the stack and reach on the bike that fit you and compare to nashbar chart... some of their models have very odd sizing.
