Yeah, it is a great blue. The Re-gen is a great blue too. I have enough jackets now though. I'll wait a while.

Argh! This looks really nice.

I'm still staying with the Resistance jacket though. It is nice enough. For some unknown reason I like the ember color.

There's a company that makes alpaca base layers. I had one, years ago, but can't find it now. I remember it being warm, and might order a new one. I've been buying alpaca socks lately and they're wonderful.

I think this is a 70/30 alpaca/merino blend. I'm hoping for a few more months of skiing, but I'll also have some longer spring rides coming up.

It looks like I'll be riding 100 miles in the rain, low 50's tomorrow morning. So I picked up a new rain jacket at the local Pearl Izumi store at massive discount, PRO Aero WxB. I also ordered a set of SKS Raceblade Pro fenders. Hopefully Amazon gets them here on time! :rolleyes:

I'll report how well the jacket works assuming I survive!

I love the Isadore Essential Jacket. I wear it down to high 30's with a base layer and then a Merino jersey, but I run hot.
