Racks for the rear of my truck...

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Racks for the rear of my truck...

I'm looking for info (personal use stories preferably) about three different (but incredibly similar) racks for the receiver hitch on the back of my suv. I'm interested in the type that doesn't touch the frame, but holds the entire bike by the wheels.

Specifically:

Saris "Cycle-ON"
Yakima "Hook-up"
Thule/Sportworks "Transport T2"

Are they strong and reliable?
Do you feel safe with your $2k machine mounted with one of these?
Negatives?
Positives?

Thanks,
PJ
