Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tubeless on flights?

Anyone taken tubeless tyres on flights, with sealant inside?

Does it just become an unholy mess by seeping out with the pressure changes?

I haven't, but I can assure you that there will be zero effects.

The absolute highest pressure increase you could ever have inside the tire would be 1ATM, or 14.7 lbs/in^2.

It should have no effect. Maybe lower the pressure a bit beforehand, if you run close to max.

Just back from Maui. None whatsoever. But you have to deflate them for the flight anyways.

Air pressure at sea level: 14.7 psi
At 35,000 feet during the flight: 3.5 psi

That's only an 11 psi difference. You can pump up the tires as usual.

Cargo area for checked baggage Is like the rest of the cabin. Remember people fly with their pets Too.

that hold is where they pack their cage-boxes.

IIRC they keep the plane cabin pressure in flight at altitude at an equivalent of about 8000 feet maximum. Not a massive change, really.
