Your Strava username leaderboard ranking
I was looking for someone on Strava, & searched my name.
There are nine exact, only two with a substantial number of rides.
A mountain biker (in a neighboring county) has more rides,
but I have the most miles.
My buddy is one of seventeen, ranking #3.
Anybody else?

Most miles and rides by a wide margin, though someone that joined this year is beating me out for the year (which isn't saying that much). Strangely, there's another person with the same name and in the same part of Minneapolis, but hasn't been active for a couple years.

I googled my name and found a pedophile in Florida has the same name.
Strava can't compare to that.

Apparently there are 21 people on Strava with my first/last name. I'm proud to say I have more than double the number of rides as the 2nd place Dan (last name), and shockingly also have more runs than any of them even though I haven't gone for a run in a year.

My Strava name is also my actual name, but they are both common, so there nearly 200 of us. But most have very few rides, and a surprising number have no activities at all. Those with more than 100 bike activities comprise only about 10% of the total, and several of them seem to have lost interest (little or no recent activity in the past year), so there are only about eight or nine of us who'd be competing for the leader board.
- One guy has only covered about 1/3 as many miles as I, but has climbed almost as much elevation. His all-time longest ride was a paltry 39 miles, but his biggest single climb was nearly 3,400 feet! But then he lives in Ogden, UT.
- Another climbing maniac, who lives in NC, has ridden about 30% fewer miles, but has climbed almost twice as much - almost 330,000 feet in 135 rides this year. But I still have him soundly beat in biggest ride (110 vs 80) and biggest climb (5,037 vs 2,365)
- There's one guy in England who typically rides less often, but further than I, and climbs a bit more per ride, too. However, it doesn't seem that he likes to go any faster than I.
- One guy in Toronto rode a lot in the summer, but recorded nothing through the winter, and hasn't recorded much since August, so I'm way ahead of him for the year, miles and elevation-wise. However, he's done more miles per hour, and more feet per mile than l, so he's clearly faster. He looks very serious/pro in his profile photo, too.
- Another serious looking guy, in Texas, has done a ton of rides, and in the past has done a 198 mile ride, but this year has taken a lot of short rides. His totals are higher, but while his mile per hour is higher, his feet per mile is lower, so I'm guessing we're pretty evenly matched overall.
- There are a couple of guys with fairly similar stats, but not soundly better in terms of both distance and elevation.
- One guy, though, had surprisingly similar stats at first glance - average distance and time per week for the last four weeks have been virtually identical. Less than 2% difference in biggest ride (my 110 to his 108) and only 5% difference in biggest climb (his - Mt. Mitchell, compared to my Cima Grappa). HOWEVER.... his miles per hour and feet per mile were significantly higher.
Well, figuring all that out was kind of a pointless chore....
By the way, my name is so common, last time I checked there were five in NY City alone who shared the same middle initial as well, one of whom - get this - was born on the very same day, same year, and who turned out to be a felon. Caused a bit of confusion when I moved here and wanted to get a driver's license, and when I re-entered the country one time and got taken to a special room....

I have the most by a long shot (out of 39). What's interesting is that my name (or Strava as a whole?) seems more popular in the UK.
Also it looks like quite a few people joined for <10 activities and quit.

There are very few people with my actual name, perhaps a dozen on Facebook. Simple enough name, ten letters total between first and last name.
There are only 3 people with my "real" last name, one of them is my brother. There are a few people with similar spelling since the last name was changed by many during the Ellis Island days of immigration.
There are actually six people with my fake last name, which is taken from a movie (technically a musical first). I beat them all in all stats except for one guy for total miles.

I have a unique last name, I'm 1/1 not only on strava but in the US. I think there are only 5 others out there with the same last name and I had a daughter so it's going to die with me.

i'm #1 of 31. two guys are respectably close in terms of
mileage this year and one has a longer all time distance ride
(143 miles to 132 miles) but i'm ahead on biggest climb, number of rides and mileage.
oh...and i have better pictures.

There be three of me. One with no activity, the other started on Strava within a month as I. I top the longest ride, the most activities, highest climb (his 6' to my 4k') and overall distance.

The only person with my first and last name died in 1992: he was a 3rd cousin.
