Fork help

Hi guys
Thinking about purchasing this frame for a build up for my daughter.
17" frame - 700c - but don't know what fork would be appropriate. Can you give me some links to examples ?
Don't know enough about rake, length etc etc to make a correct decision
1 1/8" straight fork is all I know
Is this frame worth $100 ?
Thanks much

Sorry, I don't know. Anyone?

A lot of times you can buy forks and frames together online. That may be easier.

I don't know either. I would like to think it's built for a typical road fork but since it's so small that may not be true.

You may want to cross post in "framebuilder" forum as there may be better brains for small size issues there. If no good answer, I would look for a frame/fork (or even full bike).

Is that a road bike? Looks like a hard tail MTB to me. The "inch" sizing suggests that as well.

After further digging, this is what I found. It was a 2009. Its listed as a 'Road, Sport'
2009 Marin Terra Linda ALP WFG - BikePedia
It's an RFE carbon fork which I dont believe is available aftermarket.
I'll keep searching but play it conservatively. Thought it would make a good father daughter project
